Passionate about nurturing today’s youth, they aim to share their knowledge and expertise with every young player within our organization. These coaches understand the value of discipline, hard work, drive, and teamwork. They aim to inspire kids not just to excel in baseball, but to grow as individuals in every aspect of life. DEAN DEETZ
HEAD COACH
Coach Deetz brings a wealth of experience and a true passion for the game of baseball. Drafted in 2014 by the Houston Astros, he competed at the highest level of the sport as a RHP, gaining insight and knowledge that he now shares with the next generation of athletes. He's entering Year 4 of youth baseball coaching and Year 6 of individualized youth training. His goal is to make a positive and memorable impact on every player he has the privilege of coaching.
JASON MARTIN
HEAD COACH
Coach Martin's baseball journey has taken him from youth baseball fields to the Major Leagues to overseas, giving him a unique perspective on the game and the dedication it takes to succeed. Those experiences shape the way he develops young athletes. With 3 years of youth coaching and individualized training experience, he's committed to helping players translate their potential into performance.
SHANE LUENSMANN
ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Shane is a USA Baseball Certified Coach and former collegiate athlete with 9 years experience of coaching youth baseball at both recreational and competitive levels. He specializes in player development, mental approach, and game strategy, helping athletes build strong fundamentals and a deeper understanding of the game to prepare for higher levels of competition.
GARRETT HOPE
ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Garrett brings a lifetime of athletic experience and a deep passion for player development. He grew up excelling in both baseball and football, continuing his success into his dual-sport collegiate career playing both sports at WVU. He then signed a free agent contract with the LA Dodgers where he gained first hand experience of the demands and expectations of the pro game.
